Well, that was unexpected... o,OOriginal Plan: A steampunk take on The Wizard of Oz; complete with jolly ol' London Town, Bobbies, corsetry, and Jack the Ripper's brain in a military automaton war suit.
What Happened: I spent waaaaaaaay too much time on character development and research. I realized yesterday, if I was gonna get this assignment done, I'd have to pull the plug, shelve the idea, come up with a new one stat, buckle down and draw.
New Plan: I decided to illustrate a poem. Now, it's not entirely steampunk... It's more steampunk influenced; I lent out my anatomy book to a friend so I used Fullmetal Alchemist for reference and the poem is by Edwardian Wartime poet, Wilfred Owen. All in all, with a little polish, the pictures should look just fine.
Speaking of polish, tomorrow is Scan/Photoshop hell day; wish me luck.
